Patricia has lived in the valley with her two daughters since 2008. Her oldest daughter graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 2018 and is attending Columbia University in the fall. Her youngest daughter attends Jackson Hole Middle School. Patricia spent 6 years on the Teton County Planning Commission and 4 years on the TCSD #1 School Board. Originally from outside Chicago, she has lived all over the U.S. Her undergraduate degree is from Macalester College with a double major in Economics and Political Science. She also has her M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Finance and Accounting. She has worked as a Financial Consultant in banking and M & A at Arco and also as a Treasury Consultant for PriceWaterhouse. She has served on the Teton County Education Foundation since 2012 and enjoys serving the children of our county.
Helen grew up in Cleveland, went to college in Connecticut, and after moved directly to Wyoming. She has been in Jackson for 20 years. Jackson is where she met her husband, Sean, and is where she is currently raising her 3 school-aged daughters. Before having children, Helen’s most accomplished work experience was at Teton Youth and Family Services, where she fulfilled a variety of roles – Counselor at Van Vleck House group home, Diversion Officer, and Coordinator of the Teton Family Treatment Court. Since then, she has gravitated towards different fields – dabbling in Interior Design and being a Stylist for Pearl by Lela Rose. It is a commitment to children and community that brought her to the TCEF as a Board Member in 2016.
Greg Prugh was born and raised in Jackson Hole. His deep knowledge of the markets and love of this community has translated into a strong career in real estate. Known for his finely-tuned negotiation skills and an honest approach, Greg is a trusted advocate and advisor. Greg graduated from the University of Arizona with degrees in East Asian Studies and Finance, He has served on the Teton County Education Foundation Board since 2016.
Ashley was raised in Jackson until she graduated from Jackson Hole High School. She then moved on to earn a degree in International Business with a minor in Spanish from the University of North Carolina. Her business savvy & sharp eye were instrumental in managing multi-million-dollar digital marketing campaigns for a major online eyewear retailer. Her experience has given her great insight into sales & marketing, both online & off. With her husband, Mike, also from Jackson, she has lived all over the United States during Mike’s time in the Air Force. Ashley and her family have recently returned to the valley they have always thought of as home to raise their two children. Since returning, Ashley has become an active member of the community and is on the Teton Board of Realtors’ Events and YPN Committee as well as proudly being the newest Board member of the Teton County Education Foundation.
Dr. Shannon Owens
Born in Wurzburg, Germany and raised in Jackson, Dr. Shannon Owens is a former graduate of both Jackson Hole High School and the University of Wyoming. At UW he was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-professional Honor Society and the recipient of the L. Floyd Clarke Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Pre-dental studies. After earning his B.S. in Zoology at the University of Wyoming he attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas where he completed his D.D.S. with honors, followed by his Certificate in Orthodontics and M.S. in Craniofacial Biology He has published five research papers and co-authored a book chapter with Dr. Jason Cope on Mini-Implant Anchorage in Orthodontics. Dr. Owens is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, Wyoming Association of Orthodontists, The Edward H. Angle Society and the Charles H. Tweed Foundation for Orthodontic Research. He is a past president of both the Wyoming Asscociation of Orthodontists and the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists as well as their representative to the Council on Scientific Affairs. Locally he recently completed ten years serving on the Teton County District Board of Health. He and his wife, Melissa, a former University of Wyoming graduate and local defense attorney, share a love of the outdoors and enjoy raising their children in their hometown.
After raising a family for forty-five years in Columbus, Ohio, Lisa and her husband became full-time residents of Jackson in 2000. In Ohio she was a volunteer and board member of the Junior League of Columbus, a docent and member of the Women’s Board of the Columbus Museum of Art and a school volunteer. She also worked in the Development Department of the Columbus Academy for several years. Since moving to Jackson she has served as a board member of Teton Youth and Family Services, One 22, and the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, as well as a docent and board member of the National Museum of Wildlife Art. She enjoys traveling, fly fishing, and her family.

Dr. Gillian Chapman
Originally from Kansas City, Dr. Gillian Chapman has been the superintendent of schools in Teton County since 2015. A passionate believer in each student, Gillian creatively approaches educating students and is relentless in ensuring each student has the best educators, resources, facilities and team members to help them meet their goals. Gillian holds degrees from Pepperdine University B.A. in French, University of Central Missouri M.S.E in curriculum and instruction, St Louis University doctorate in administration and leadership. She is grateful for the support of TCEF to ensure every student can explore many opportunities in our schools and community.
Pier has been instrumental to the relationship between TCSD #1 and the Teton County Education Foundation. A founding board member of the Foundation and key TCSD #1 staff leader, she is an important part of the TCEF team.
Originally from Southern Illinois, Jennifer graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and received her Master’s Degree from the University of Chicago. While the majority of career has focused on business development and nonprofit management, she has has also done her share of field research and educational outreach, and is a strong believer in the power of education to transform lives.
Lori Crabtree has worked as a marketing, communications, and event management consultant for over two decades. Since moving to Jackson Hole in the early 90’s, Lori has also spent countless hours volunteering, fundraising and supporting local schools and nonprofits.
